Description

The Lunt 8mm eyepiece is a 1.25-inch format eyepiece designed to pair with Lunt's solar telescopes and other standard 1.25-inch focusers. At 8mm, it's the shortest focal length in Lunt's eyepiece lineup, delivering the highest magnification for close, detailed views of individual sunspots and prominences. Like the rest of Lunt's eyepiece lineup — available from 8mm up through 27mm, plus a 7-21mm zoom — it's built for the fine focus and contrast demands of solar viewing, though it works equally well for lunar and planetary observing after dark.
